I'm glad this exists:

I've just come across cancer survivor Andrea Coller's 2008 article for Glamour magazine. I found myself empathizing with her in many ways- especially her zero bullshit tolerance. She died in April of this year at age 29.

When I first discovered my less than tolerant attitude toward bullshit, I thought it had been depleted by chemo. I said to one of the chemo nurses that I though chemo had zapped my ability to be compassionate. She was the one who told me that it was not compassion but tolerance that chemo had zapped. I've not read the article but will. Thanks for sharing.

Firstly I want to say thank you for your blog, and your honesty and sharing your life.
My 22yr old daughter also has Ewings Sarcoma and follows your blog. You have been an encouragement to her.

I read the article and it just brings home the realization that no one can know or feel what you brave (not the word I was looking for....) amazing young women are going through.

As a parent I can relate to the comment in the article about going into crisis mode and being there and that seems to be the only thing we can do to help and I can imagine sometimes it drives you up the wall!

Thank you again for sharing your life and I will continue to follow your blogs.
