I am an artist and writer diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma. This is an attempt to document my process and provide inspiration for other twenty-somethings who refuse to go the way of headscarves and hospital gowns. I mean, really? Cancer is fucking hilarious.

Hope you feel better soon. Cancer sucks ass! And, this is a totally dumb, random question, BUT, I saw a preview for a show called, World of Jenks. There was a girl in it, who had cancer and she looked just like you. Eventhough I dont know you, your face is unforgettable. You are beautiful. So, was it you? Lol

I read your blog and you're a strong, brave and funny Tough cookie! I was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma and had my left lung lube, diaphragm muscle and partial lining of my heart. My tumor was 7cm and attached to my heart-SCARY! I wish you all the best and you'll get through!!! Third times a charm!! Two more treatments for me, then 6 wks of radiation! God is with us!!!! Hey Kaylin :) so my good friend sent me a link to your blog because i am currently being treated for ewings sarcoma as well. I was so surprised when i saw your latest post/picture because i immediately recognized the sk peds bathroom. I am being treated here as well and am currently serving my time in inpatient for neutropenia....gotta love it. Its like jail with smiling guards! Anyway, i completely understand that this is a time when you would rather have your alone time, but i'd really love to talk to you sometime. I really admire your sarcasm and wit.

Kaylin-I recently caught your MTV show which I had never seen before, and your story really hit home. I am 30 years old, and was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkin's disease, stage 4b. I just wanted to connect with you and affirm that all of your experiences...fears...symptoms...all of the stereotypes, the weird looks, the unknown....it's ALL REAL, and knowing someone else feels the same?
